In Delhi, customers gathered outside the Apple Store at DLF Mall as the first sale of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max began. Long queues were also seen at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket, with buyers arriving early to purchase the new devices. Videos showed customers waiting outside the store and heading inside as sales of the new iPhone models began.

In Mumbai, customers lined up outside the iPhone store at Jio World Drive as Apple began sales of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Videos from the outlet show a large crowd gathered outside the store, with customers waiting to enter and purchase the newly launched phones.

One customer explained why he decided to upgrade from his previous model. "There is an upgrade in the camera and the processor that is why I am upgrading my phone. I have an iPhone 17 Pro; now I am buying an iPhone 18 Pro,” he told ANI.

In Bengaluru, eager customers were also seen standing in long queues outside the Imagine Apple premium reseller store at the Mall of Asia. The store saw customers arriving to purchase the latest Pro models as the official India sale began.

iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max Launched
Apple had launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its 'Surprise and Shine' event on September 9. The new models bring several changes over the iPhone 17 Pro series, including Apple's latest A20 Pro chip, a new C2 modem and a redesigned vapour chamber. There is also a major camera change this time, with variable aperture making its debut on an iPhone.
Battery life gets an upgrade too. Apple claims the iPhone 18 Pro can last for up to 24 hours on a single charge, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is rated for up to 30 hours.
