Ankit Kumar

Ankit Kumar is a Senior Sub Editor at The Daily Jagran with a focus on foreign policy, climate change and technology. Since joining Jagran in 2023, he has explored the nuanced intersections of politics, history, economics and society. His prior experience includes working with Prabhat Prakashan-DSA Magazine, SoftAge and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Ankit holds a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Delhi and has further advanced his expertise in media with a postgraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from IGNOU. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati. He has also broadened his global perspective through an International Summer Programme on Poverty and Mental Health at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
